The Norwell High School Performs at Symphony Hall

as part of the Societies Collaborative Youth Concerts

This program brings together public high school choirs to perform Baroque and Classical repertoire with the H+H orchestra in school settings and on stage at Symphony Hall.

Norwell High School was selected as one of the few schools on the South Shore to go back in time to 1727 and take part in this unique program mentored by the Handel and Haydn Society. In addition to special workshops, students were invited to perform on stage at Symphony Hall on March 8th and 10th with the members of the Period Instrument Orchestra and Chorus. They performed the anthem Zadok and The Priest.

A full collaborative concert, including professional opera singers, will be performed the Silver Lake and Dennis-Yarmouth Port high schools and will take place on April 10th at Silver Lake.
