You’re invited! Please join the NHS community for Empty Bowls 2018. Empty Bowls is a wonderful grassroots program with the goal of ending hunger in our community. Students and art teachers have been working very hard to produce pottery bowls that will be for sale the night of the the event Wednesday, March 21nd. The event itself is free to attend, but if you want to take home a bowl, the is a suggested donation is $10. Special bowls by local artisan potters and the fantastic NHS faculty will also be offered as silent auction items. We will share a meal donated by local restaurants and NHS families, enjoy music by student musicians, and listen to some short expert talks about hunger in Massachusetts and Norwell. We get to help our kids do good and have a direct impact on our community. Empty Bowls is sponsored by the Norwell Scholastic Arts Society and the Norwell Cultural Council. All funds raised by Empty Bowls go to the Norwell Food Pantry and arts education programming in the Norwell Public Schools.
